No decorrer de cinco noites, foram anunciados os vencedores dos Creative Arts Emmys de 2020, a cerimónia (este ano, virtual) de entrega dos prémios que antecede o evento principal, Primetime Emmy Awards, esta noite de domingo, dia 20 de setembro, igualmente em formato virtual. The Mandalorian e Watchmen foram as séries que arrecadaram mais prémios, ambas com sete, seguidas de The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, com quatro prémios. Quanto aos canais/plataformas, também houve um empate no topo, com a Netflix e a HBO a vencerem ambas 19 prémios, seguindo-se o Disney+ e a NBC, ambos com oito prémios.
