A HBO está a completar o elenco para a sua próxima minissérie, The White Lotus, criada por Mike White (Enlightened), que é também realizador, argumentista e produtor executivo.

A atriz Molly Shannon (Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp) irá ter um papel recorrente em The White Lotus, juntamente com Jon Gries (The Pretender), Jolene Purdy (Orange Is the New Black), Kekoa Kekumano (Hawaii Five-O) e Lukas Gage (T@gged). Até ao momento não foram divulgadas informações sobre os papéis que estes atores irão interpretar na série, que se passa num resort tropical exclusivo e acompanha as façanhas de vários hóspedes e funcionários ao longo de uma semana.

Estas novas adições vêm juntar-se a nomes anteriormente anunciados no elenco regular de The White Lotus: Murray Bartlett (Tales of the City), Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights), Jennifer Coolidge (2 Broke Girls), Alexandra Daddario (Why Women Kill), Fred Hechinger (The Woman In the Window), Jake Lacy (I’m Dying Up Here e High Fidelity), Brittany O’Grady (Little Voice e Star), Natasha Rothwell (Insecure), Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria e Everything Sucks!) e Steve Zahn (Treme e The Crossing).

David Bernad e Nick Hall, que já tinham colaborado com White em Enlightened, vão ser produtores executivos, juntamente com Mark Kamine (The Sopranos).
